My recent experience with Matt, the owner of Alert Canine Training Solutions was very positive. Our one year old pit bull terrier mix had a bad habit of jumping on people when they entered our home. With Matt's expert training and advice the problem has been resolved. I would highly recommend ACTS to anyone who is looking for help with their pet.
Excellence in Training Canine Loved Ones
I have a very wonderful Mastiff, Seana, for 5 years, who, one would have considered, was a "Gentle Giant". I then adopted an 8 year old Rottweiller (Lexi) in October 2014. Seana, who was initially okay with the Lexi, became very aggressive towards her attacking her on at least 5 separate occasions between the summer of 2015 and February 2016. I was devastated by these occurrences which were getting more and more vicious and resulting in Vet visits and stitches and antibiotics and pain killers and higher and higher costs. My greatest fear was that this sweet Lexi would be seriously harmed or killed. Seana also seemed to get very excited when she would see other dogs, barking excessively and becoming out of control. She even attacked a very small dog one day at her daycare place. I was terrified. I called Matt at 'Alert Canine Training Solutions' in March 2016. Matt has visited us 3 times since. I am very pleased to say that there has been a remarkable turnaround with Seana. Not only has there been no more "incidents" between the dogs but Seana has become remarkably obedient, coming when called (she never did this...never!), she sits when told to do (sometimes I have to say it more than twice ... but she sits!); she also stops barking when I tell her to settle. I am very thankful to Matt at ACTS for teaching me how to work with Seana and giving me peace of mind. I thank Matt (ACTS) and recommend him most highly.
Friendly, knowledgeable, excellent results
We had great German Shepherd for 13 years and after she passed we made the decision to get another one. Little did we know that she had a whole different personality. We were recommend by a friend to take here to Alert Canine where we met Matty. We started taking our German Shepard to Matty when she was about 8 months old, We had problems with her not responding to our commands, and she would nip at people when they came over. We left her with him for 2 weeks, and when we returned she was the most obedient and happy dog. She listened to all our commands and she completely stopped the nipping. The best part was that he showed you what to do, how to work with her, and gives you a video in case you forget. He loves dogs and wants everyone to love there dog, but if you have a dog that doesn't respond to you, it is the most frustrating thing. We love our shepherd she is part of our home and our lives, and it is so much nicer now that she fits right in. Thanks Matty for all your help.
Thank you Matt for the incredible job you did with my Labrador Brady. It was an incredible transformation of his whole demeanor and behavior. We can now take him out on long walks without pulling or trying to get other dogs. I just wish we did this a long time ago thank you so very much for all that you have done for Brady and our family.
